Some of the country’s leading suppliers of automotive products and services have pledged support to the veterans initiative of the Richie Bello Institute of Leadership and Management, a 501C3 not for profit. The Institute was founded to support the automotive industry by recruiting, training and placing certified veterans into dealerships across the country. The not for profit was founded in 2017 by Richie Bello, a thirty-five year veteran of the automotive industry who attempted to enlist, but was denied due to having a history of seizures. Bello pledged that when he had the influence, he would do something for the Veterans. Fast forward to today, where Bello has carved out an impressive following in the automotive sector for his development of software solutions, training programs and an unprecedented reputation for great success with his clients’ digital media. “The industry is much like the military.” Bello stated. “It is with discipline and respect for process and training, a good employee can move up the ranks.” The Veteran starts in a position that gets them into the industry and can give them assistance with programs and training courses that help to promote them based on performance. The initial certification and job placement support puts the Veteran into a dealership as close to their residence as possible. At this time, dealers in the New York Metro, Georgia and Florida markets are actively being sourced and lined up for graduating Veterans. The program training can be completed online and offers support from trainers in all areas of the industry. The Institute is accepting applications from Veterans looking for a fully complimentary certification and opportunities in the $97billion automotive industry. The Richie Bello Institute is a 501C3 not for profit with its training center in Phoenix, Arizona and business offices in Long Island, New York.
